My Profile

I possess a wealth of fashion industry experience which is both my own and that of the Alicia Kite Academy where I gained my image consultancy training. Alicia has worked in the business of image consultancy for 30 years. She has extensive knowledge of the industry but it is her knowledge and understanding of the high street that made me choose to study with the Academy. Alicia’s slogan ‘image is so much more than colour’ demonstrates that as consultants, we do not pigeonhole our clients into ‘colour seasons’. Instead we consider personality, lifestyle and body shape to be central to creating an image that is unique to them.

I come from a strong fashion background where I have gained an HND in Stitched Textiles and Fashion Design at Edinburgh’s Telford College as well as having extensive experience in fashion retail sales, visual merchandising and display. In addition, I spend a great deal of time on the high street immersing myself in shops of every type from high end to budget; vintage to charity and I truly believe I leave no stone unturned.

As well as my strong fashion background, I also have a passion for well-being, both my own and that of others and chose to study this at degree level. As a result, I gained a first class BSc Honours Degree in Sport and Exercise Science. I believe that this has provided me with the skills that allow me to empathise with my clients about body image/health and wellbeing issues. Attainment of a Life Coaching Diploma further consolidates my expertise in this area.

Last but definitely not least, I absolutely love working with people. I gain immense satisfaction from making others happy and I believe I achieve this through my consultations.
